Global Executive Director, Aftermarket Sales
Position Summary
The Global Executive Director of Aftermarket Sales is responsible for developing and executing Stanadyne's worldwide aftermarket growth strategy across diesel fuel systems, components, service parts, and related solutions. This executive leadership role drives revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, market expansion, and channel development across all regions, including North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and emerging markets.
The position leads global sales teams, distributor networks, strategic accounts, and regional aftermarket organizations while collaborating closely with product management, operations, engineering, marketing, and customer support functions. The Executive Director serves as a key member of the company and plays a critical role in shaping the company's long-term aftermarket strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a global aftermarket sales strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across all aftermarket channels.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive threats, and industry trends impacting the diesel and fuel systems aftermarket.
- Establish annual and multi-year business plans, sales forecasts, and growth initiatives.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Lead global sales efforts for replacement parts, service components, remanufactured products, and aftermarket solutions.
- Expand market penetration through distributors, dealers, OEM service organizations, independent repair networks, and fleet customers.
- Develop strategic partnerships and channel programs to accelerate growth in key markets.
- Drive new customer acquisition while strengthening existing customer relationships.
Global Channel Management
- Build, manage, and optimize a worldwide distributor and channel partner network.
- Establish performance metrics, commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and growth plans with key partners.
- Ensure consistency of channel strategy while adapting to regional market requirements.
- Negotiate high-value commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
Commercial Excellence
- Implement best-in-class sales processes, account management disciplines, and performance measurement systems.
- Drive pricing excellence, margin improvement, and revenue optimization initiatives.
- Establish KPI frameworks and regularly review performance against targets.
- Lead sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business review processes.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional sales directors, account managers, and aftermarket commercial teams globally.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
- Build organizational capability to support long-term global growth objectives.
- Champion talent development and succession planning initiatives.
Customer & Market Leadership
- Maintain executive-level relationships with major distributors, OEMs, fleet operators, and strategic customers.
- Represent Stanadyne at industry events, customer meetings, and key commercial engagements.
- Gather customer and market intelligence to influence product development and business strategy.
- Drive customer satisfaction and service excellence initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Management to develop aftermarket product strategies and launch plans.
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure product availability and service levels.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop channel programs, promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Support Engineering and Quality teams with customer feedback and market insights.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline required.
- MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within automotive, diesel systems, commercial vehicle, industrial equipment, or related aftermarket industries.
- 8+ years leading global or multi-regional sales organizations.
- Demonstrated success managing distributor networks and aftermarket channels.
- Strong experience with OEM, independent aftermarket, fleet, and service channel sales models.
- Proven track record delivering significant revenue and profit growth in international markets.
