We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Components Manufacturing Department, responsible for producing precision-machined components used in high-performance fuel systems. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume, precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for precision components
  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations within the Components Department
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing issues
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing standards
  • Conduct time studies, process capability analysis, and workflow optimization
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality and production challenges
  • Support equipment and tooling improvements to enhance manufacturing performance
  • Assist with new product launches and manufacturing process validation
  • Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze production data and drive process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in precision machining or component manufacturing
  • Experience in automotive, diesel, or fuel system manufacturing
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, grinding, honing, or metal cutting processes
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
  • Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments
