Quality Associate

The Quality Associate supports the production of automotive fuel injectors by performing inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure products meet internal specifications, customer requirements, and automotive quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity in a high-precision, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections of fuel injectors and related components
Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and test equipment
Verify compliance to engineering drawings, control plans, and work instructions
Identify, document, and report nonconforming material
Support containment activities, sorting, and rework as required
Maintain accurate inspection and quality records in accordance with plant procedures
Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities
Communicate quality concerns to Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership
Support audits (internal, customer, and third-party) as needed
Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including IATF 16949 standards
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
1–3 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing (automotive preferred)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience using measurement and inspection tools
Basic computer skills (data entry, quality systems, spreadsheets)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
