DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Materials Support
In this role, the incumbent ensures that all raw materials are available to the Plant as needed while maintaining optimum inventory levels. Completing regular inventory counting, reconciliation of inventory balances, managing raw material aged inventory, and reporting. Recognizing the criticality of Production and Maintenance schedules to meet this objective. This position serves as an integral member of the Production Planning Organization and must have thorough knowledge of the entire Scheduling/Planning process. Perform AS400 usage queries and manage returned goods authorization process. Supplier management of vendor managed inventories: maintain stock master lists, submit requests for quotations & procurement of new parts for stocking & spot buys. Enter raw material Oracle receipts for Crawfordsville. Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining current NAFTA certification for all active suppliers. Act as single point of accountability (SPA) for all import/export documentation, procedures, and processes.
Warehouse Lead
In this role, the incumbent would work closely with the Glenn St warehouse leads to ensure finished goods inventory is accurate on a weekly basis. This would include counting and reconciling the inventory. Be proficient on a sit-down electric forklift. Drive accountability for all warehouse personnel and maintain a good attitude. Drive proper procedures for warehouse activities. Be willing to accept the responsibilities and demands of meeting goals, quality excellence and facilitating the activities of the warehouse attendants as well as backfill for absenteeism or vacation for warehouse attendants. Assist warehouse attendants with daily tasks, shipping, receiving, reconciliations, pulls, loads, and quality processes. Perform all duties of a warehouse attendant and other duties as assigned. Drive all monthly safety training is communicated and/or completed as well as all other KSPI’s. Be flexible and supportive of personnel changes which are in the best interest of CSI.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS
B.S. Degree in a technical-/business-related discipline or 5-7 years equivalent experience required. Thorough knowledge of CSI’s Safety, Environmental and Health policies.
Knowledge of CSI purchasing policies and procedures.
Broad knowledge of the materials, equipment and services used by the plants.
Good working knowledge of production and inventory control techniques.
APICS certification preferred.
Ability to handle confrontational situations between suppliers and plant personnel.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment through planning, organization, and follow-through. Drive and ambition to keep pace with best practices in manufacturing.
Effective communication skills and interpersonal astuteness are a must. Interaction with Suppliers, all levels of Management and Manufacturing personnel within CSI.
Effectively analyzes problems, obtains data and identifies solutions that work. Able to implement permanent corrective action plans. Extensive knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize Oracle business system (transactions, receiving, profile and equipment set up, downtime entry), NFI (Shop Floor and Administration), Word, Excel – spreadsheets, charting, formulas, etc.
Familiarization with CSI and Inventory Accounting methods is preferred.
Inventory control and analysis experience required.
Knowledge and experience with Root cause analysis, problem identification and resolution.
Must be customer focused, profit, and results oriented.
Must handle multiple tasks efficiently and schedule conflicts effectively.
Must possess great attention to detail.

Work Schedule: 8 hour days, with occasional after hours work.
