Position Overview
- Support the day-to-day functions of the Extrusion department while working with engineering team as well as independently to accomplish engineering initiatives and projects.
- Reporting to the department manager.
- One large project expected to be completed with presentation at completion of internship. Working simultaneously on additional smaller projects and tasks as needed.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Essential Functions:
- Communicate with management, engineering, and operators to complete assigned projects
- Participate in ongoing internship events and learning sessions
- Share thoughts and ideas for continuous improvement opportunities
- Lean daily management participation
- Nonessential Functions:
- Support across multiple departments
Qualifications

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Plastics and extrusion knowledge
- Microsoft Office
- Communication skills
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be entering Junior year or later at a 4-year university/college
- Completing an Engineering or relevant STEM degree
- Prior Internship experience a plus
