  • Intern will act as a SubCom ambassador and promote the SubCom brand on campus.
    • Will compile a list of dates and time of campus focusing on IT and Engineering clubs so we can reach out to and attend events.
    • Use Linkin to promote SubCom attendance at UNH events
  • Will help recruit UNH students for summer internships, schedule interviews and learn the onboarding process. Once the internships are full, the intern will learn screening and recruiting of full-time employees.
  • Will work with HR coordinator to schedule summer events and guest speakers for summer interns.
  • Work with HRBP and HR coordinator to create monthly metric reports.
  • Assist with other day-to-day HR responsibilities such as talent acquisition and onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Students enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at The University of New Hampshire
  • Strong written, oral communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employment and work in multi-cultural environment.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of employment laws, workers compensation, FMLA, FLSA, ADA and EEO a plus
