To achieve these great efforts, Stratolaunch (https://www.stratolaunch.com/) is seeking a Program Manager with a minimum of 5-years of experience to lead an integrated team. This role is responsible for program execution including program cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction, while providing program leadership to both internal and external customers.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Work with engineering & shop teams to keep the schedule updated based on real time events
Assist PM in providing look ahead tasking reports on what needs to be accomplished over the next week, then tracking and following through the work execution (both Engineering & Technical).
Assist technician team & shop leadership to identify work available, work that could be available from engineering, identify and fix issues preventing work such as insufficient parts, tooling, technicians, or other blockers.
Work with various manufacturing leads, ( Director of Ground Operations, Director of Manufacturing, Electrical Lead, etc .) to technicians are continuing to work on the program priorities and all loops are closed.
Assist Engineering & Procurement teams with part orders, tracking need to order dates, need to received dates, etc. Assist by creating purchase orders, finding alternate vendors, assist with vendor management, verify and manage Program Master BOM to track part availability & program costs.
Assist PM & finance team in calculation of budget by providing estimations on time and materials to perform projects.
Assist PM & Operations team to plan travel itineraries, book travel, re-plan as required
Identify Company level facility needs within the schedule, and report to IMS, such as ramp needs, hangar needs, etc.
Work with manufacturing to identify future staffing counts
Working with Program Managers, identify sections of schedule or build management they can own & manage
Work with Program Managers, establish metrics for work orders released, work orders completion etc., update and use Metrics to illustrate the program status
Assist the GSE engineering effort by creating and maintaining a detail GSE BOM leading to predictable costs, adequate spares plan, reliable delivery dates, etc.
Facilitate problem solving when GSE parts are not alliable
Manage GSE engineering as PM focusing on engineering planning and shop planning for GSE build. Predict shop staffing, predict GSE completion dates.

Required
Knowledge of, and experience with, one or more of these disciplines: aerospace program management, subcontracts and procurement, personnel management, aircraft systems, aircraft operations, launch vehicle integration, ground systems
Experience with technical aerospace leadership, including working with subcontractors
Experience with prototype manufacturing or low-rate production
Experience with risk management
Facilitation skills and ability to communicate technical challenges and guidance to varied audiences to gain support or resolve concerns
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to implement sound critical thinking skills
Ability to work on their own initiative and prioritize tasking to fit within the business goals
Ability to obtain a security clearance at the Top Secret level
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with government agencies ( customers and regulatory )
Experience with air-launch programs
Launch vehicle and/or aircraft integration experience
Large transport category or military aircraft operations experience
Experience with classified programs and working in a classified environment
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Senior Level($117,000-$153,000): Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Science (BS) or higher in a Business Management/Business Administration and/or Engineering discipline from an accredited institution and 5-plus years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Staff Level ($152,500-$200,000): Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Science (BS) or higher in a Business Management/Business Administration and/or Engineering discipline from an accredited institution and 10-20 years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Principal Level ($175,500-$230,300): Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Science (BS) or higher in a Business Management/Business Administration and/or Engineering discipline from an accredited institution and 20+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
