Red River is seeking a Commissions Manager to join our team! The Commissions Manager will play a role in calculation, analysis and maintenance of the commission compensation plans, in addition to the annual planning process. The role is based in the Finance Department and will work closely with members of the FP&A, Accounting and Sales organizations. The Commission Manager will also work closely with the Director of FP&A on corporate budget and forecast preparation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain commission plans across the sales organization
  • Work with the Finance, Accounting, and Sales departments to help track, view, and maintain accurate data concerning performance and variable impact on targeted behaviors
  • Lead the bi-weekly commissions governance meeting
  • Administer the commissions systems, CaptivateIQ, to process commission payouts and interact with commissionable staff regarding any questions and data issues
  • Formulate the commissions budget with FP&A and maintain the monthly forecast
  • Provide support to the FP&A team by delivering timely and accurate reporting and analysis of financial performance against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and corporate objectives
  • Analyze sales performance results and make recommendations to Finance, Sales, and HR leadership for process improvement

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 8 years of applicable work experience

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Must have strong MS Excel skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion is required
  • Familiarity with CaptivateIQ or a similar commission software system a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Must have strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion is required
  • Strong presence with ability to interact with Senior Leadership
