Maintenance (Multiskilled) Mechanic

Responsible for the efficient, cost effective maintenance repair and preventive maintenance of all equipment, buildings and facilities at a multi-plant site.
- Performs mechanical and electrical repair of all equipment associated with operations.
- Installs machinery, pipes, structural steel, etc. at a multi-plant operation.
- Fabricates stairways, catwalks, structures, etc. at a multi-plant site.
- Helps maintain correct stockroom inventory by utilizing storeroom withdraw slips.
- Maintains positive attitude toward maximizing plant’s success.
- Receives and carries out directions accurately and efficiently.
- Operates in compliance with all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
- Complies with all corporate/plant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates commitment to Responsible Care® in every day activities.
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial plant setting.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Electrical aptitude

- Communicates, promotes and personally demonstrates Safety/Health (including PQP Principles) as #1 priority
- Participation in risk assessment audits as applicable
- Understand PQ Principles (PQP) and how they are implemented in the site organization, rules and procedures
- Completes HSE training requirements identified for the job in a timely manner
