Job Summary

The Inventory Supervisor will oversee inventory management and warehouse operations within our facilities. This leadership role includes supervising a team while also performing hands-on tasks such as unloading/loading trailers, order picking, packing, inventory counting, and processing transactions in our ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to production, DPM, and PPM requests, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
  • Participate in pre-production meetings to align teams and ensure smooth production processes.
  • Accurately pick, pull, count, and pack manufacturing orders while adhering to GMP standards.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with misplaced or lost orders and products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and documentation for both materials and finished goods; execute transactions in D365.
  • Manage material transfers between buildings, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Address and facilitate various inventory/warehouse-related tasks as needed.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are performed in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations, including proper use of equipment, PPE, and safe material-handling practices.
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead and coordinate Union and temporary staff, as needed, to successfully execute warehouse projects in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the team on challenges, fostering improvement and streamlined processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English and Spanish required.
  • Forklift and lift equipment experience required; training and certification will be provided
  • Computer literate with the ability to work with various software tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting and working with inventory.
  • Familiarity with D365 ERP systems is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily working from a forklift during the shift.
  • Occasional walking to interact with other departments.
  • Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required.
  • Work will take place in a warehouse environment.
