Job Summary
The Warehouse Clerk supports the inventory and warehouse operations by, this may include but is not limited to unloading/loading trailers, picking, pulling, counting, packing, and transactions. This position is an entry-level/Jr. position with training available for all responsibilities and duties required, though prior experience in various areas would be preferred.
Responsibilities
· Picks, pulls, counts, packs, and transacts manufacturing orders while following GMP
· Researches lost or misplaced orders or products
· Maintains proper inventory control and documentation for all material and finished goods inventory in facilities
· Answers phones and email accordingly
· Communicate errors to relevant parties
· Marks and labels stock
· Counts and confirms inventory
· Ensures cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment
· Responds to and facilitates requests for inventory/warehouse related tasks
· Delivers efficient utilization of warehouse space
· Reliable in attendance and adheres to all personnel policies outlined in the company handbook and works responsibly without direct supervision
· Competent and consistent in the completion of daily tasks and assigned work
· Other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications
· Must be able to read and write in English
· Demonstrates basic knowledge of Inventory systems and Warehouse operations
· Must be trained in forklift, lift, and other power equipment operation or willing to be trained and processes a valid Calif. driver’s license. Forklift and lift certification should be obtained within 1 year of hire date
· Computer literate
· Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
· Ability to read engineering drawings
· Proficient skillset in MS suite appropriate to job task
· Experience working in a warehouse, is preferred
· Experience working with inventory, is preferred
· Experience working with AS400, is preferred
· Experience working with ERP, is systems preferred
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time throughout the shift
· Must be able to sit on a lift truck for the entire shift
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
