Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fulfillment Operations Data Analyst to join our operations team. This role is responsible for analyzing data and identifying process improvements across our supply chain, order fulfillment, and kitting operations. The ideal candidate will turn complex datasets into actionable insights to increase operational efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness across warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

This is a high-impact role that partners closely with supply chain, logistics, IT, and customer service teams to streamline operations, improve KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across fulfillment workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from systems including WMS, ERP, and TMS platforms.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track KPIs such as order processing time, fulfillment accuracy, inventory levels, and delivery performance.
  • Provide ongoing performance analysis to support data-driven decision-making.

Performance Optimization

  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in kitting, packing, and fulfillment processes.
  • Support the design and implementation of optimized workflows in collaboration with warehouse operations and supply chain teams.
  • Create carton pack-out designs and recommendations for kitting strategies based on order requirements and historical trends.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Leverage historical data to forecast order volume, inventory needs, and labor demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for seasonal peaks, promotional periods, and shifting customer demands.

Cost Analysis & Control

  • Analyze fulfillment cost drivers (shipping, labor, storage) and identify opportunities to reduce spend while maintaining service levels.
  • Monitor cost-per-order and propose solutions for cost-effective operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with logistics, customer service, and IT teams to address operational challenges and implement strategic solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Identify areas where automation and new technologies can improve fulfillment speed and accuracy.
  • Support implementation of tools such as AI, robotics, or advanced analytics to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Evaluate and optimize warehouse or fulfillment management systems as needed.

Ad Hoc & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to assess operational impacts of key business decisions such as carrier changes or pricing strategies.
  • Provide analytical support for continuous improvement projects and long-term operational planning.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Access.
  • Strong understanding of WMS, ERP, and logistics systems.
  • Ability to translate raw data into actionable insights that improve KPIs and operational results.
