Director, Platform Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
We are seeking a highly skilled Director for Platform Infrastructure and Cybersecurity to architect, deploy, automate, and sustain secure data and AI platforms across on-premise, commercial cloud, and government cloud environments. The successful candidate will build and maintain scalable infrastructure supporting Digital Engineering, AI/ML, Modeling & Simulation, Data Lakehouse/Fabric, and advanced analytics workflows operating across multiple security domains including Unclassified, CUI, Secret, and Top Secret environments. This role requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, data engineering, and cross-domain deployment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, automation, and sustainment of secure digital infrastructure supporting advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, digital engineering, modeling and simulation, and mission-critical software systems across on-premises, commercial cloud, government cloud, and classified environments.
- Serve as a team leader managing infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, cyber threat detection and response, and DevSecOps, establishing scalable and repeatable platforms that enable rapid delivery of capabilities while maintaining security, compliance, and operational reliability.
- Work closely with software developers, data scientists, AI engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and mission stakeholders to develop standardized deployment patterns that support operations across multiple security domains and computing environments.
- Architect and manage teams to automate modern cloud and data platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies to support enterprise data ecosystems, AI/ML workloads, digital twins, and advanced engineering applications.
- Provide strong technical leadership in implementing secure, resilient, and portable solutions capable of operating across Unclassified, CUI, Secret, and Top Secret environments, while helping shape long-term infrastructure strategy, technology roadmaps, and engineering best practices.

- Multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure architecture
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and platform automation
- Data lakehouse and enterprise data platform engineering
- AI/ML and agentic AI platform enablement
- Kubernetes and container platform operations
- DevSecOps pipeline development and automation
- Security and compliance[SH1] implementation within regulated environments
- Cross-domain and classified environment deployment strategies
- Digital engineering, modeling, simulation, and digital twin platform support
- Technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture governance
Required Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Engineering
- 5+ years deploying systems in regulated or classified environments.

The ideal candidate possesses broad expertise spanning cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, data engineering, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and modern software delivery practices. They should demonstrate the ability to design, deploy, automate, and sustain scalable technology platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments while supporting advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, digital engineering, and mission-critical applications. Success in this role requires a strong foundation in infrastructure automation, containerized platforms, enterprise data architectures, secure system design, and the application of engineering best practices within regulated or classified environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- AWS Professional Certification
- Microsoft Certified: Expert
- CMMC Level 2/FEDRAMP Compliance Experience
- Security+ or CISSP
