Director of Program Planning and Scheduling:

As the Director of Program Planning & Scheduling, you will personally build, maintain, and defend the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for our most complex programs. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a blend of advanced technical scheduling expertise and executive-level strategic thinking. You will translate complex logic into clear delivery roadmaps and provide the predictive analysis necessary to avoid "surprises."

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on Schedule Execution: Personally develop, status, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for all programs, ensuring technical logic and horizontal/vertical integration.
  • Critical Path & Risk Analysis: Conduct critical path analysis and perform Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) to provide accurate predictive forecasting.
  • Standards Ownership: Establish the "Gold Standard" for schedule health (DCMA 14-Point or equivalent) and manage the Baseline Change Request (BCR) process.
  • Functional Cross-Support: Maintain high-level proficiency in cost control systems to provide surge support or coverage for the Director of Program Performance and Cost Control, including basic budget updates and variance reporting.
  • Technical Mastery: Provide "What-if" modeling and delay analysis to Program Managers, transforming data into actionable strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in Project Controls, Program Management, or Scheduling, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Technical Expertise: Mastery of Critical Path Method (CPM) logic and experience managing large-scale Integrated Master Schedules ($100M+ portfolio size).
  • The "Coequal" Mindset: Proven ability to work in a shared-authority environment, requiring high emotional intelligence and a collaborative approach to decision-making.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
