The Office Manager will provide administrative, facility, and security support to the team. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced R&D engineering environment. The Office Manager will welcome guests, manage security records for visitors, perform and/or coordinate facility matters, and other project based work.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer and visitor access by maintaining entry records, issuing badges, and monitoring security cameras and related systems to ensure a secure facility.
- Coordinate and manage facility-related activities, requests, and corresponding records to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Oversee office organization and administrative coordination, including the planning, scheduling, and execution of meetings and events.
- Serve as a key administrative resource, providing proactive support to executives and project teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management, executive support, or administrative coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with calendar management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Slack).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive problem solver with a high degree of initiative and adaptability.
Preferred Education / Experience:
- Associates Degree in related discipline
- 1+ year or;
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
- General administration
- Problem solving skills
