The Role:This position is accountable for the accurate and timely recording and processing of all material(s) received to the facility. To receive and distribute or stage incoming materials. WHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB An efficient worker, you enjoy having multiple priorities at one time and multitask without breaking a sweatA great teammate, you are able to contribute and thrive within a fast-paced environmentA task-oriented teammate, you find deep satisfaction from independently checking things off your to-do list Top Responsibilities Unload and receive incoming materialsCompare information on packing slips with physically received itemsInspect all incoming goods for potential damage during unloadingVerify accuracy of delivery by comparing packing slips with purchase ordersRecord discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnelSort, count, package, label, unpack, and/or log received inventoryDeliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorized signaturesProtect materials from damage by following proper handling techniquesInitiate proof of delivery documentsDemonstrate correct procedures for inspecting and accepting incoming chemicals and materialsEnsure all materials are properly stored after receiptTransfer materials to appropriate storage locationsProcess all transactions to accurately document material actions and movementMaintain cleanliness of assigned work areas, including equipment, tools, and work surfacesConsolidate and organize materials to maximize space and support FIFO usageManage finished goods inventory with 100% accuracy on all daily in/out transactionsProvide daily box count for copperReplenish layup copper inventory racksWork overtime as requiredParticipate in training and continuous improvement eventsWork in compliance with national and international standards (e.g., ISO, EICC, OSHA)Perform other duties as assignedAssist shipping in the afternoons and serve as primary backup to shippingPrepare materials for shipment daily (band/wrap/palletize)Maintain accurate records and paperwork for all shipmentsSchedule common carriers for shipment pick-up, including airfreight and international shipmentsCommunicate with Production Control, Sales, and Credit departments regarding shipment issuesEnsure accurate and timely recording and processing of all shipmentsMaintain 100% accuracy in all shipment records and documentationPrepare paperwork for both domestic and international shipments Qualifications Valid forklift certification requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasksCapable of working effectively under pressureStrong interpersonal skills; able to work with individuals at all levels of the organizationAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructionsProblem-solving skills in standardized situations involving a few concrete variablesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required3–6 months of related manufacturing experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience using a PC requiredExperience with SAP preferredPrior receiving experience desired Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceStrong verbal communication skills Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
