- Key contact between customers, field sales/tech, and all internal functional departments.
- Receives and enters/processes customer orders and inquiries where response time and accuracy are paramount.
- Executes requests for quotes and inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Manages assigned accounts and specific account terms/conditions with required data bases and processes, including customer number to part number cross reference, pricing, back-up sheets, and customer master files (SAP / Google / Portal).
- Provides knowledgeable responses to questions re: lead times (available manufacturing capacity); inquiries as to customers’ purchase order and shipment status; and basic product capabilities.
- Seeks approval for deviation or makes suggestions for process modification and/or improvement.
- Reduces complexity to improve performance and lower costs.
- Is primarily motivated to develop positive long-term customer relationships while at the same time supporting company objectives and guidelines on customer product priorities.
- Actively supports field sales and tech-based team members.
- Accepts back-up assignments, cross-trains on other customers’ requirements and other company functions (pricing and part management).
- Other duties as assigned.
