Position Title: Materials & Production Planning Manager
Location: Ridgeway, SC (Onsite)
Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000

Isola is a global leader in advanced materials for printed circuit boards (PCBs), enabling innovation across electronics. Our Ridgeway, SC, facility is critical to our high-mix, short-lead-time manufacturing network.
Role Overview:
This role is responsible for end-to-end materials and production planning, ensuring optimal flow of materials, inventory control, production scheduling, and on-time customer delivery. You will lead warehouse operations, procurement scheduling, and act as a key contributor in cross-functional initiatives, including S&OP.
This role requires both strategic planning and daily execution oversight in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plant-level materials functions: production scheduling, planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations
- Optimize material flow, warehouse layout, and Kanban/WIP staging to support lean, just-in-time production
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Plant Operations to meet On-Time Delivery (OTD), lead time, and inventory goals
- Drive improvements in material planning processes to reduce cost, improve service, and support Sales-to-Service performance
- Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and lead the annual physical inventory process
- Manage supplier performance, logistics coordination, and service-level agreements as needed
- Provide daily leadership and direction to the materials and scheduling team members.
- Support and improve the S&OP process through forecasting, scenario planning, and execution alignment
- Monitor and communicate risks and mitigation plans for critical material shortages.
- Drive root cause problem-solving, process standardization, and visual management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, or Business
- 5+ years of experience in material planning, production scheduling, procurement, and inventory management
- Experience in high-mix, short-lead-time manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative management style
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Familiarity with Kanban, Lean principles, and visual management systems
- Knowledge of procurement accounting practices is a plus
- Proven ability to lead cost and process improvement initiatives
- Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment
