Job Summary:
The Experience Designer plays a crucial role in shaping the creative expression, and an emphasis on creating unique and challenging designs. Ensuring the delivery of outstanding design solutions and working collaboratively within a design team. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and evaluates the feasibility of concepts for retail environments, including signage, decor, and displays by considering practicality, aesthetics, budget, production methods, and brand characteristics. Create development solutions that are innovative, on-brand, functional, sustainable, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
Job Description:
- Make confident design decisions and be supportive in helping others develop their ideas.
- Guide engineers and studio collaborators to preserve conceptual design integrity into production, while being mindful of client needs and feasibility.
- Help develop and present unique ideas at all levels, from day-to-day work to creative review meetings, and client presentations.
- Develop high quality deliverables for creative projects from sketch ideation to design intent, to 3D model rendering, and creative presentation building collaboration.
- Analyze creative briefs and project specifications provided by client services and project management to conceptualize design custom physical structures. Solutions must align with creative intent, meet structural and environmental requirements, and be optimized for efficient production using both in-house and external fabrication capabilities.
- Generate initial design concepts through hand sketching, refine visual elements using Photoshop, and develop detailed 3D models using advanced CAD and 3D software.
- Uses design and CAD software to create prototypes, detailed 3D models and final designs.
- Foster team cohesion and contribute to the culture of collaboration and continuous growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques applicable to the retail, QSR, and hospitality sectors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications of Position:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in industrial, interior or architectural design
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design concepts and completed projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong visual communication skills, and the ability to generate ideas through iterative sketching and modeling.
- Proficiency in design software and tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Layout).
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and materials in design.
