Role Responsibilities
- Work directly with outside clients, providing cost estimates for head shot studio and coordination with production needs.
- Ensure that live shot runs smoothly, meets deadlines, and stays within budget.
- Maintain working relationships and provide support to regular clients/customers by scheduling recurs and OU services in ScheduAll.
- Assist with sales endeavors and provide support and backup to Minnesota sales department
- Obtain orders from clients and then coordinate with engineering for live shots at local venues
- Fill out requests with venues to obtain credentials for engineering
- Staff, schedule and operate studios and tape feeds, including off hours and weekends
- Hire temporary staffing for studio shots and other needed services
- Responsible for obtaining invoices from temporary staff, submitting invoices to payables and following up on payments
- Price quote special projects, such as Satellite Media tours and provide studio information to meet the client’s needs
Required Experience
- Must be flexible with hours due to the operational needs of the business
- Experience in the broadcasting industry preferred
- Individual must be able to work under pressure and meet strict job deadlines
- Proficient in PC-based hardware and software applications
- Ability to work with short deadlines
- Must be detail oriented and be able to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Must be able to work within the team concept
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to operate broadcast television equipment
Skills, Education and/or Certifications Required
- College degree or technical school preferred.
