Key Responsibilities
The main objective of the Inside Sales Coordinator is to fully support the corporate mission statement by ensuring levels of support match or exceed customer expectations. This person will be tasked with aiding the Sales, Customer Service, NPI, & Quoting teams manage quotes, pricing, and support new part and revision launches.
In this role, you will:
- Process RFQs following procedures including gathering the information necessary to allow the quote group to provide a quotation to the customer in a timely manner.
- Interface with ECI and Customer engineering teams to ensure all prints, specifications, supply sources, and documentation needed to process RFQ’s are obtained in time to meet quote deadlines.
- Act as liaison between customer and various ECI functions (Sales, CS, NPI, Operations, Quoting) with day-to-day requests.
- Support new (NPI/ECN) part launches, by initiating NPI, Monitor SOP dates and help clear gates. Collect NPI POs.
- Serve as NPI escalation and help coordinate authorized material/tooling purchases to hit key customer milestones.
- Handle paperwork for new customers and locations such as credit applications, terms and conditions, logistics and supplier surveys.
- Support price management for assigned customers
- Appropriately handle issues individually or with a small group and raise issues as necessary to management’s attention.
- Work collaboratively within ECI to support Customer’s Purchasing and Engineering Groups.
- Aid in the coordination of internal activities to support customer projects. i.e. product development, program management, operations management, customer support.
- Assist Sales & Customer Service in coordinating the support for customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited four-year college/university preferred not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Industry experience within the supply base similar to ECI or within an OEM.
- Strong communication skills with ability to interface with internal and external customers
- Good analytical and general business skills
- Organized and capable of project coordination
- Display good judgment and initiative
- Demonstrated team membership skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

- Frequent hearing on the phone and in person.
