Job Summary:

This position is responsible for reviewing new production orders received, releasing the orders to the floor, and monitoring progress to insure we meet the requested timelines.

Essential Job Functions:

• E-receive orders and convert to production orders to be produced in Winnipeg
• Support new item set up for facility as needed to support customer needs while scrutinizing these requests to make sure the new requests are realistic and we can meet timing.
• Distribute cut orders to production floor denoting any special requirements or expedited timing for the orders.
• Expedite material, components, outside embellishment requirements, etc. as needed to service production needs
• Confers with production supervisor to determine progress of work and to provide information to account reps as requested.
• Liaison between account rep/ sales rep for all new orders
• Respond to and process all add-on requests and changes received from account reps/sales.
• Work with product development team as needed to facilitate information for new products being introduced to the production floor.
• Evaluate orders for needs and timing and work with customer service as needed to make sure we can support the request.
• Manage/track embroidery of cut parts that has to be sent out to embroidery contractor. Work with production supervisor and development team to confirm all detail have been sent for the embroidery and work with contractor on timing of completion and receipt back to the facility so we can complete the order in time for the customer delivery

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

• Prior experience in a production environment preferred
• Computer literate on Word, Excel, AS-400, email and telephone skills.
• Excellent communications skills, interaction with sales, marketing, customer service.

Education/Experience:

• High School minimum; college/university degree preferred
