Job Summary:

The Regional Vice President of Sales will be a sales and operational leader, responsible for crafting and executing high-impact sales programs at existing customers and prospecting new relationships in order to deliver growth objectives. This role demands a disciplined, personable individual that is driven by results. The ideal candidate is customer centric, adept at delivering exceptional customer service, and able to manage many competing priorities. A background in the collegiate market and familiarity with alumni associations in Texas is strongly preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and implement forward-thinking sales strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Establish structured selling protocols, including call planning and reporting standards.
  • Guide and mentor teams to consistently meet and exceed business targets.
  • Define key performance metrics for ring events and maintain tracking systems.
  • Provide regular, data-driven updates to the Executive Team.
  • Collaborate extensively with customers; assess and anticipate customer needs.
  • Address pricing and service delivery issues to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and sustain long-term, profitable relationships through tailored customer engagement.
  • Build strategic alliances internally and externally to support business growth and stakeholder success.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

Experience

  • Proven Leadership in Sales: demonstrated 10–15 years of progressive experience.
  • Track record of revenue growth and demonstrated success in building long-term partnerships.
  • Experience at Sales execution, developing and executing comprehensive sales plans aligned with corporate objectives and customer expectations.
  • Industry expertise in the collegiate and/or alumni arena.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: History of working closely with executive leadership, marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales efforts with broader business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong command of sales analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire other sand influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through change in fast-paced, competitive environments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, mostly throughout the state of Texas. Travel can peak at 75% during peak season and include weekends.
