Job Summary:

The employee will be responsible for visually inspecting wax patterns for conformance to job order and quality standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Visually inspect wax pattern against job order for correct date, degree, name, school spell out, shank detail, trademark and monogram. Inspect for quality of shooting, trimming and sprue. Use knife and/or pick to correct minor problems on wax pattern.
• Maintains ring tally and notes problems for lead inspector.
• Follows standard quality control operating procedures with respect to record keeping and identification codes regarding disposition of each wax pattern.
• Operate quality control data entry terminal.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

• Must have working knowledge of wax trim operation.

Education/Experience:

• Previous experience preferred.
