Location: Merida, Yuc. (In-Office required: Monday – Friday)

POSITION SUMMARY:
HR Specialist plays a crucial role in managing various human resources functions within an organization, such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage recruitment processes, including screening candidates and conducting interviews.
- Oversee employee onboarding and training programs.
- Administer compensation and benefits packages.
- Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages
- Administer health and life insurance programs
- Implement training and development plans
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

- Expertise in hiring processes, interviewing techniques, and talent acquisition strategies.

- Managing payroll, benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
- Using HR metrics to make informed decisions and improve workforce management.
- Mediating disputes and ensuring fair treatment of employees.
- Familiarity with HR software and digital tools for efficient operations.
- Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 100% Bilingual English/Spanish (Oral, Written, Spoken)
